On the Night She was born

Eleanor Rose Stevens was born at Alma Midwifery today. She was 8lbs 12oz and 21 in.

Emily was tremendous in labor and conceded that she was actually in labor less than an hour before Eleanor was born.

Drew was fortunate to be the only one in position when Eleanor decided to join us. As painful as it was for Emily it was equally magical for Drew to deliver Eleanor from the darkness into the light.

Miles was so excited to meet her that he didn't stop talking for over half an hour. It was a non-stop chatter fest. Above he is showing Eleanor the birthday card he made for her and describing every detail.
