Beginnings of Whimsy

Some know them as Emily and Drew, some as Emma and Drewski, some as Emily and 'her boy', and still others as Em and Drewbie. However you know them, Whimsy will allow you to peek in on their adventures and stay abreast of their latest news. I will chronicle the tales of Emily and Drew as they build a home, grow a family, and wander the path called life.

Sometimes, late breaking news does not travel around the world quite as fast as it does for Tom, Katie, Angelina, and Brad; so for those of you who haven't read the evening news lately, here are a few things you may have missed. Drew has relocated from the Town in CA, to the Rose City in OR. Emily has moved out of her lovely SW Portland residence into a fantastic NW home with Drew. This is a big change but the transition has been just about turbulence free. However, the cameraman did miss one moment of heated battle: the filing cabinet viciously attacked each and every stair as it hastily exited its Oakland domicile. Unfortunately for the cabinet, the stairs were a worthy adversary and managed to land several devastating blows. After some emergency treatment, the filing cabinet was saved and will be able to live out an almost normal life.

The other big news announced in the third quarter: Emily and Drew have decided to start a family. Yes, that means what you think it means; Emily is now on a non-alcoholic, low fish, no feta diet that is high in comfort food. Emily and Drew are anxious for the arrival of the new family member coming to an Oregon near you, March 2008. Stay tuned for more updates, photos, and anecdotes.
